Jorge Padilla is a Certified Safety Professional and Construction Health and Safety Technician with over 40 years of experience and currently serves as Assistant Safety Program Manager at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). His wealth of experience spans multiple disciplines including infrastructure, buildings and airfield networks, FAA Construction Regulations, and airport operations. Mr. Padilla assists with developing/writing and enforcing safety standards that meet LAX Construction Safety Policy Guidelines, OSHA, CalOSHA, FAA Regulations and contractors’ site-specific safety programs. Additionally, he reviews and approves contractor safety submittals, IIPPs, and Site-Specific Safety Plans to preserve airport safety and productivity.
