USC East College Prep School Opening

KDG President Lydia Kennard was honored at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 20 for USC East College Prep, a free, public charter high school in a lower income neighborhood. Ms. Kennard serves on the Board of Trustees of USC, and led and funded the purchase and renovation of the school building, located on Mission Road in Lincoln Heights. The building’s open layout, as managed by KDG, resembles more of a college student union than a high school classroom.
